The Most Enticing Breakfast Are Now Shot from Guns J Puffed Wheat and Putted Rice were served last month for seventeen mil lion meals. But millions of others lacked them. There are millions yet who don't know them. If you are among them, we invite you to try them. Serve one of these foods tomorrow. The world, as you know, doesn't jump to a food which all are not find ing delightful. The foods of the day are the foodi that are best. That is always so. The foods -of this day are these "isp, gigantic grains puffed to eight times their natural size. These whole, unbroken, nut-like grains, made four times as porous as bread. You'll like what others like." We' do you a kindness when we ask you to try these foods. Puffed Wheat-lOc Puffed Rice-1 5c , These are the foods invented by Trof. An derson, and this is his curious process: The whole wheat or rice kernels are put into pealed guns. Then the guns are revolved for sixty minutes in a heat of 550 degrees. That fierce heat turns the moisture in the grain to steam, and the pressure becomes tre- -mendous. Then the guns are unsealed, and the steam explodes. Instantly every starch granule is blasted into .a myriad particles. The kernels of grain are expanded eight times. Vet the coats arc unbroken, the shapes are unaltered. We have simply the magnified grain. One package will tell you why people de light in them. Order it now. Made only by The Quaker Oats Company Record Wheat Yield. W. S. Address, VON," Success Magazine, Room 103, Success Magazine Building, New York City, N. Y. Children Burned to Death. Even the most casual reader of the newspapers must have no ticed, within the past tow weeks, the ut u&ual number of accidents in winch children have been burned to death. Thes" accidents have most fre quently resulted from playing with matches, and this fact leads to the couclusion that not suffici ent care has been taken to keep these dangerous things out of the children's reach. In some cases gross inattention or criminal ne glect might reasonably be charg ed. It would be best, or course, for those haviug matches, and this includes practically every body, to keep them under lock and key. But this being incon venient, the next best thing is to put them where it is practically impossible for children to get hold of them. For it is certain that when chil dren old enough to jplay with matches get possession of these dangerous things they will get immediately to where the danger is increased, to where they can find the most inflammable mate rial. They want a quick blaze, a great flame, a lurid spectacle, and they too often get not only what they want, but also such terrible burns that death results. Frank hn Repository.
