Quite a number of our young folks attended the apron sale at Dublin Mills. Arthur K'eilin expects toleao for Altoona on Mond ly. Joshua Hooter and wife, near Huntingdon, came home and spent a few days the past week with relatives in this community. Mrs. Jacob Winegardner spent Saturday and Sunday with the family of James Henry. Braidy Fleming spent a couple days the past week at Shade Gap. D. Jackerman and wife, of Jamestowu, N. T., stopped over Sunday at the Mowers House. Jas. Deavor and wife, of Wood vale, spent a day last week with John K. Woodcock. Preparations are being made for a Harvest Home Picuic, after harvest. Our students have returned to their respective homes from Mc Connellsburg. Louie Brown went to Hunting don on Monday to stay a short time. Mrs. Nettie Winegardner made a hasty trip to James Henry's on Sunday, Mary Miller returned to J. H. Bakers Sunday. Nora fleeter came home Suu day from Huntingdon for a week and returned Monday. l. J. Fields and wife visited Mrs. Catharine McClain, Sunday. William Keebaugh has had a new barn built, which is quite an improvement. Elmer llorton is visiting his many friends in this place. Arthur Kerhn and Alfred White started to Johnstown on Monday. Grandmother Baker is no bet tor. Daniel Henry is having his new barn built. The contractor is W. I,. Fields. Sunday School Picnic. The Pleasant Grove Sunday school have fixed the first Satur day in Augustas the time for hav ing their picnic. The Whipj Cove Sunday school and the one at Oakley have been invited to join, and a most pleasant time is antic ipated. The following speakers are expected, namely. Rev. Jacob Powers, of Virginia; Rev. Morton Powers, of Ohio; Rev, Jesse Kaughman, of Gapsville; Super intendent Barton and Hon. Jno. P. Sipes, of McConnellsburg. The Clear Kidge Cornet Band and Ladies' Aid Society will hold a picnic in the grove at Clear Kidge on Saturday, July 29. There will be speaking and other amusements. Watch for bills. Prof. Horace M.
