Mrs. Annie Pittman, daughter of Michael Knauif, while picking raspberries, killed a rattlesnake, that measured 3 ft 6 in. and had 17 rattles and a button. A. R. On Friday evening last, while playing around tho bouse, Pierce the little son of Mr, Bert Henry, Lof Tod township, stepped on a piece of glass, cutting an ugly gash in his right foot. Mrs. Annie Kirschmier, wife of Joseph Kirschmier, a painter re siding in Pittsburg, Pa., has an nounced that she will apply to President Roosevelt for a pension or a medial because she has sev enteen children, all alive and well. Mrs. Kirschmier is only 50 years old, is hale and hearty, as is her husband, who works every day. She thinks that no one can beat this record. This woman of family made her first move last week when she called at the office of the Pittsburg Health Bureau in the Public Safety Building'and held a list of seventeen children which she had borne to her hus band and asked to have the births verified by the Health Bureau records. She had been married twenty years and has borne no twins.
