People who have ouly heard of McConuollsburg aud have never been there are of tho opinion that the town is deadly dull and far behind the times, but. a visit will quickly put such ideas to flight. It is one of the liveliest little towns we have ever visited and tho people are strictly up-to-dato iu every re spect. The fact that there is no railroad reaching tho town and a ' ten-mile drivo over the mountain i must bo taken to get there does not make visitors scarce, by any moans, for they are there in great numbers all the time.
