An oftical report of an operation per formed upon Miss Letitia Mill«r, of San Rafel, for the removal of, 1097 articles, mostly metal from her stomach, says she is on the road to recovery. The report was filed with the state board of control. These arti cles were removed: One hundred and eight wire hair pins; 55 open safety pins, 21 broken pins, 5 prune pits, 23 buttons, three collar but tons, 13 nails, three screw eyes, 40 one staple an inch long, five parts of teaspons, 425 broxen pieces of hair pins, one piece of string, one piece of thread, 104 unidentified odds and ends, mostly metal; nine parts of combs, and 280 small pins. LIZZIE McNELLAN SPRINGS OWN DEATH TRAP Smiling and With Head Erect Murderer Goes to Gallows to do His Own Execution Rawlius, Wyo.,May 24.—Spring ing his own death trap, Joseph Seng, at the state prison here today, paid the penalty for the murder of Wil liam Lloyd. Seng walked to the gallows where ho was to hang himself with head erect and with a slight smile on his lips. He stepped quickly on the trap and pulled a plug from a bucket of water, which emptying, released the weight that sprung the trap.
