He was drunk and was raising a disturbance, and when captured the following articles were taken from him: One 38 calibre revolver and 22 cartridges that fitted it, a razor, a heavy jack knife a dagger nearly 10 inches long. The dagger was a long piece of steel that was sharpened only on the point. When arraigned he said he did not remember being drunk, but finally admitted being guilty. He was fined $5 for being drunk and gio for the other of- fenses. That council will be represented at the funeral by a committee, and the Waverly council will attend in a body. He was at onc time chief of the Waverly department, and the present chief of the department. James Clohessy requests that all former fire chiefs meet at the city hall at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning for the purpose of attending the funeral. The funeral will be held next Tuesday morning.
