Daskam died at the home of Charles A Haynes, 231 Chestnut street, yes- terday afternoon at 1:30 o'cleck, aged 78 years. She was born in New Milford, Conn, but has resid ed in Athens over Go years, She never married. She was a tailoress by trade, working for Thomas Grantham for many years. She had an affection of the eyes and became nearly blind 18 years ago, since which time she has worked at weaving.
