Last night at 7:30 Coun. cilmen Evans, Hassler and Hawes were in their seats ready to do business, but as no one one else showed up, and there was a quorum lacking, adjournment was taken until Wednesday evening. At 8 o'clock, however, other members of the council, thinking that 8 o'clock was the appointed hour, showed up, but after waiting a considerable length of time, they, too, adjourned. This is why there Was no council meeting, ———————— HOSPITAL NOTES Daniel Casshione, a Lehigh Val. ley section hand, while splitting ties at Towanda this forenoon, cut a severe gash in his lef foot.
