Carner's team of black horses took a fast run from the store down Main street last even- ing and in attempting to tura into Chemung street they ran into a telephone pole, breaking the pole of the wagon. The horses escaped without injury. A man was arrested last evening for intoxication and placed in the borough lockup. He grew very boisterous ‘and sang songs and made speeches so long and loud that the ctazy man in the next cell became ashamed of himself and rested quietly until the man was removed. Joseph B.
