All who have known Mr. Shaw have been impressed with his acute percep tions and the sentiments of honor that formed the ¥mainspring of his words and actions. He has not been a meteor in the galaxy of stars, but his influence has been such as to impress everyone with a sense of his worth. God- lifts man up to a place of digaity and responsibility, and Mr, Shaw had a royal character that was worthy of the highest emulation, Mr. Shaw will be remembered as one of the true men of the age.
