STOLEN CLOTHING
noon Charged With Breaking
in Solomon's Store
On Wednesday night last the
store of Solomon Brothers on Des-
mond street was broken 1ato, prob
ably by tramps, and a quantity of
clothing to the value of one hun-
{dred and fifty dollars, was taken.
The police went to work upon the
case but no clues developed until
today, when Jacob Solomon, one of
the members of the firm, saw a
young Italian wearing a suit of
clothes of the same make and
pattern as the stolen ones Mr.
Solomon notified Chief Walsh and
{the latter took the young man in
{tow. Justice Carey issued a war
| rant, charging larceny, and the
young man was held ia the sum of
| $100 bail to insure his appearance,
pending an investigation. The
[talian gave his name as Dominic
{Musa and said that he bought
three coats and several purs of
pants from a tramp, for which he
[gave fifty cents Immediately after
[his release the lad went with Mr.
| Solomon to the box cars at East
| Waverly to ge! the remunder of
| the clothing It is doubtful if he
