Jesse Sumner and Richard Bird of Smithfield were here this morn- ing on their way to Schraeder Branch, where they will spend a few days on a fishing trip. Earl Goetchius and Miss Katha- rine Donovan were married by Father O'Rourke at the parochial residence last evening. They have a home fitted up on Herrick street where they will reside. E. M. Clark has been among friends in Mansfield a short time and came to Athens last evening, where he spent the night with his brother, J. M. Clark, resuming his joumey to Rome this morning. Alice Morris had her stepmother Mrs. Mary Roy Morris, arrested last evening for assault and making threats, They evidently had been having a jolly time of it, and now the prospects are that it will occupy the attention of next court. She was held under $150 bail for her appearance.
