Snyder died at his home in Sheshequin at 1:15 p m, yesterday, aged 79 years Mr Snyder was born in the house in which he died, and had a long and eventful life as an early inhab- His stately home was always the scene of pleas- | ure and “Squire” Snyder was noted oy his hospitality. He was one of | the oldest Odd Fellows living, and | in this as in projects for the pros | perity of his town, he was an inde- | fatigable worker. He has not been | well for some time and last Wednes- | day he fell and broke his hip. His enfecbled condition made it impos- | sible to reduce the fracture and he | suffered intensely until death came. Mr. Snyder was the last of a family of nine and he leaves only two sons, Wm. M., Jr, and Burton E | both of Sheshequin, The funeral | will be held at his late home to- | morrow and interment will follow | in the Sheshequin cemetery.
