I', of 11., composed of Bradford and Sullivan counties, held at the Hall of West Warren Grange, No. 308, on Thursday, August 11th. 1881. The Grange was called to order by the Worthy Master, W, 11. Smith, at 2 p. m.. and opi ned in due form; singing by the choir, address of welcome by Brother Geo. Jilson; responded to by Brother B. F. Bowman and Wiirthy Master, W. 11. Smith. Some of the dairymen are making 2(55 lbs. of butter per cow, and think they can go 300 in another year. The Fuliz wheat has tlie preforanec generally. The question of using lime as a feitilizcs was discussed by A. 15. Cass and others who reoprt good results from its use. Many of our farmers are troubled with the white grubs in their meadows and pastures, and their potato fields, which was discussed at some length by Brothers A. B. Cass, John \">ught. James Brown. Some of the members have been sowing the while Russian oats on quite poor land with good results, oats grow well, strong *1 rawed and about ten days later than the common oats, and good vielders.
