Susquehanna Collegiate Institute, would

mannerism, too often displayed by those of
fewer acquirements. lie is certainly a suc
cess as a lecturer, and if we may judge from
his theory, is a model educator. The Elmira
College is peculiarly fortunate in having such
a man for its principal.
After the lecture strawberries and ice cream
were served in the hall, for the benefit of the
College societies, and a goodly number re
mained to partake of the refreshments.
