The young lady members of the " broom brigade,"' who gave such an interesting en tertainment at the Universalist Church the other evening, marched in a solid phalanx to the gallery of DAYTON & ROCKWELL yester day morning, armed with their brooms, and had photographs taken. The church ought to realize a handsome sum from the sale of copies of the picture. The commissioners of Wyalusing township were in town at an early hour yesterday morning, having been invited to appear before Justice IIALL between the hours of 7 and 8 A. M., to answer W. H. THOMPSON, Esq., attoruey-at-law, late of that township, in a demand for legal services. The plaintiff fail ed to convince the court that he had a valid claim, and judgment was entered against him. CREDIT TO WHOM CREDIT IS DUE.— A notice having appeared in the last Argus to the effect that the plumbing at the poor house was done by a Mr. TATE, Commissioner IIURST makes a correction in the following card: The plumbing at poor house was done un der the direction of Edward Williams, of Towanda, and those employed by him, and is entirely satisfactory so far. If the plumbing at the poor house reflects credit upon any one, Mr. WILLIAMS, who had the contract, is entitled to it, and it is hardly fair in our eotemporary to cheat him out of it. Decoration Day.
