The REVIEW has just received an order for job printing from Leadville, Col. LILLIAN CHA'SE will appear in Wyalusiug to-morrow, and East Snnthfield on Monday the 14th. We congratulate the good people of these towns on the rich treat in store for them. __ We gratefully acknowledge the courtesy of the Union Leader Company, Wilkesßarre, in sending us that wide-awake, enterprising daily in exchange for the little REVIEW. The Union-Leader gives evidence of generous support, and it certainly merits it. An ornithologist says that the birds men tioned below make their appearances about the dates given: Robins, February 27; black birds, March 3; hen hawk, first circle sailed, March 3; red-winged black-bird, April 1; barn swallow, April J6; oriole, May 23; bobolink, May 4; yellow bird, May 17; cuckoo, May 21; whippoor-will, May 23; meadow lark, May 22; flock of bull thistle yellow birds. June 14. Swallows disappeared, August 26; white snow bird®, December 2. STEVENS' UNCLE TOM'S CABIN.— Last eve ning George E. Stevens' Uncle Tom's Cabin combination, numbering thirty-five persons, appeared at Grand opeaa house iii the ever popular drama of "Uncle Tom's Cabin." The company is, without exception, altogether the best that has appeared in this city, and the performance was far more satisfactory and enjoyable than any heretofore given. The play has been rewritten by Mr. Stevens, who is a dramatist of repute, and is a great im provement upon former versions. The first act serves to introduce a pack of Cuban bloodhounds, five monster and savage brutes, who chase-the fugitive Eliza across the river, and finally turn upon and seize by the throat her pursuers. This scene is one of the most realistic and exciting ever seen on the local stage. The second act introduces the steamer Magnolia , a full size Ohio river craft, and also the famous jubilee singers who sing plan tation songs in a style that is inimitable. The comedians of the troupe are excellent, and much entirely new, pleasing and original bus iness is introduced. The variety business was very taking. A new song and dance by Will 11. Stevens brought down the house. The play closes with the finest transformation scene ever seen in the theater. To-night the combination appears for the last and the house will undoubtedly again be crowded. It is worth the price of admission to see the performance of the bloodhounds alone.—Syr acuse Courier. This company appear at Mercur Hull, Mon day evening, March 14th. THE LITERARY REVOLUTION.—CHANGE OF BASE. —This very remarkable enterprise continues to make such progress as to aston ish its friends and astound its enemies. Its greatly increasing proportions have compelled tbe removal of its head-quarters from the Tribune Building to the very large and beau tiful building, No. 704 Broadway, which is in the very midst of the "book district" of New York City, and, therefore, of the publishing enterprise of the nation. This building, though six stories in height, 25 feet front and 100 feet deep, is sufficient only for the offices and retail store of the company. The manu facturing is carried on in several large build' ings located in other parts of the city, though it is contemplated concentrating them soon in one immense factory to be e ret ted. Their list of recent and early forthcoming publications are extremely interesting to all who enjoy what is choicest in literature. The Library Magazine is unique in both form and character and altogether delightful in the richness of its contents. Of the books an nounced, Green's larger "History of the Eng lish People," reduced from $lO to $1; Carlyle's "History of the French Revolution," reduced to 40 cents; Carlyle's"Horoes and Ilero Wor ship," 25 cents, and the "Revised New Testa ment," which is promised to be manufactured with rapidity heretofore unheard of, will attract special attention. It is worth while for every one who has not already seen it, to send and get the illustrated pamphlet, "Book Making, and Type Setting bv Steam," which will bo sent free upon application.
