The work Done Inside-
One of my Men& is' a very earnest,

been turned out of door when all his
money, was gone. In a moment my

entering a grocer's shop, addressed the
master, saying :

The sheet of paper wassoon procured.
Now, will you lend me a small piece

" Specimen of the Work Done' Inside."
He then.fastened the paper over the
man, and retired a short distanse. In
a short time a few passers-by stopped
and read aloud, 'Specimen of the work

bent _down and read the inscription on
the paper•; and then demanded ,in nn
angry voice, ' Who did that?'_
Which naked my blend, who now

is on the paper, I did that ; but if you
mean the manyou did 'that! This
morning, when he arose, he was sober,
and now he is what you•have made
him. Is he not a true specimen of the
