The elasticity of the Saddle acting in bar mony with the symetry of the horse and rider, not only affords ease to the man, but incalculable advantage to the horse. All persons of judgment and experience must know, that a dead, unelastic weight on a horsy is oppressive. The Spring in the Girth affords the following advantages: Ist Moving or yielding with the horse's chest in breathing, no cramps or cholics or any dis ease can rise therefrom , 2d. The girth will outlast two or three of the common kind, because the yielding ofthe spring on the sud den expansion of the chest prevents the girth from breaking, and saves the rider front fall• ing; many fulls have heen the fruits of break ing girths. GENTLEMEN and LA DIES are invt• ted to apply, as the little difference in the cost of these and the hard Saddles is so tri• and incomparable with the difference in comfort and safety. N. B. Innumerable instances might be given of the happy effects and powerful virtues of this prepu. rutiun, in the cure of those painful and distressing diseases which have been named above, arid a. gainst whose resistless attacks the artillery or medical science has so long boon directed in vain. The transcendent merits of this preparation, its sanative powers and unparalleled efficacy in the cure of Rheumatism &c. have drawn forth tho vcluntary plaudits of thousands, who by its USb have been restored from pain and torture, stiffness and decrepitude, to ease, strength, activity and vigorous health; credulity and scepticism must disappear before the powerful array of testimo nials voluntarily furnished by Physicians of high reputation, who use it in their practice and have the honesty to give it the character it so justly merits. Letter of Dr. Jos. Gotzendannor of Montgnme. ry Co., Md., who was long and severely afflicted with Chronic Rheumatism, and finally cured by two bottles of O'Neill's Medicine: Dear Sir:—ln compliance with your request, I cheerfully add my testimony in favor of your Anti.Rhoumatio Medicine, and no selfish consid eration could induce me to withhold it. My inetto is, "honor to whom honor is duo." I was groat. ly afflicted with Chronic Rheumatism, and dis covered that the "Materia Medics" contained nothing dist would roach my disease. It is un. necessary hero to state in detail, how much I suf fered; suffice it to say, that I have been severely afflicted for many yours, and suffered great pain; and that I obtained two bottles ofyour Anti-Rheu matic decoction, and two phials of the liniment, which accompanies it, and that it has banished every vestige of. Rheumatism from my frame.— The afflicted would do well to resort to this rein edy, Your ob't. servant &c. JOSEPH GETZENDANNER, M. D. From the Frederick Times and Dom. Advocate. Highly Important to the Afflicted. It will no doubt be gratifying to our readers to learn the wonderful success which has attend ed Mr. P. O'Neill, in the use of•his valuable Anti. Rheumatic Medicine, which has been ascertained to be a specific not only in Rheumatism, but also in White Swelling, disease of the Hip Joint, Scro. fula, &c. We are urged to make these re. marks, not from tho certificates of unknown per. sons, but from our own knowledge of !layoutl im portant cures effected by his medicine, which have created general astonishment. Tho most inipor. tent one is that of Miss L Rohr, the daughter of our worthy Postmaster, who, after years of suf fering, hue boon relieved solely by the use of Mr. O'Neill's medicine—tho Medical Faculty having tried everything in vain. These aro Miss Rohr's own statements. The high reputation of Mr. O'Neill's endorsers justify us in saying that their statements merit universal credence. From tho Baltimore Chronicle We are not in the habit of expressing an open• ion of the efficacy of Patent Medicines, but in the case of the above mentioned remedy for Mourne tism, wo feel called on, by principles of humanity, to state that it has had the most surprising 'el. feels. The inventor is a gentleman in whom the greatest reliance can be placed; but he has other than hie own testimony in favor of the medicine which he offers to the public. Clergymen, phy sicians, and those who have been relieved, have borne voluntary witness to its astonishing Oleia cy; and those who have the misfiirtbne to he affix ted with this distressing complaint may be usher ed of immediate relief by resorting to this remedy. The following is from tho Fredericktown Her. aid, edited by Win. Ogden Niles, Esq. April fith, 1833: Mr. O'Neill's Rheumatic Medicine, - offered to the public in this day's paper, if we form an (min ion from the character of the maker, and numer ous certificates in his possession from highly res. pectuble individuals, who have been cured by the use of it, is one of the most valuable of recent dis covcry. Its effects upon those afflicted wit lichro nic end inflammatory rhouinatisiii, have been trul% marvellouis;"a few bottles enabling them to dis peruse with crutches, flannels and bandages, with which for yours they have protected their limbs and hurdles. Mr. O'Neill merits the gratitude of the afflicted, and the testunony of respectable physicians forbids those imputations which are generally attached to vendors of panaceas.
