MANY PROMINENT PHYSICIANS in the
city of New York and other places, finding that'll
selves without o remedy in inveterate cases of
the above complaints, and having duo regard for
the welfare of their patients, have recommended
the use of this medicine; and, after witnessing its
salutary effects are now manifesting their appro

but in some instances accepting the agency of it
to facilitate its introduction into more general use
by the Faculty.
The inflame of this composition upon the fe

the most delicate and feeble female need have no

rrillE Summer Session of these Instiffitions corn
mences on WEDNESDAY THE 4TH DAY OF
MAY, and continues live months. A fund of
$l5OO has been procured, to be applied to the
purchase of a superior philoscphical apparatus and
a standard librai7. With these facilities for in
struction, the Principals and Trustees of these In
stitutions offer to all, and especially to those seek
ing to qualify themselves for teaching, advantages
equal to those enjoyed by the academical student
in our colleges.
These Institutions are in the same village,
though entirely separate, and some distance apart,
thus affording to parents the opportunity of send
ing their sons and slaughters together. Believing
that the some principles sought to be carried out
in our common school system, should, and will
eventually, extend to the highest branches of a
liberal education, the Principals and Trustees view
what they have done only as the nucleus of fur
ther and more extended efforts, which, as they
proceed, will enable them to afford to all classes,
a liberal course of education, at nn expense more
commensurate with the limited means of a large
number of the youth of our State, who are enga
ged in the praise-worthy endeavor to obtain an
education. And with this expectation, they cam
mend their Institutions to the patronage and kind
assistance of all friends of a sound, liberal and
general education.
