ISAAC NEFF, WC's Mill, West Bar. r ee, June 16, 1841. A rure and Preventive of Disease.— Brandreth's Universal vegitable Pills are no less a cure than a preventive of di seases. %V hen no feel doll, pain in the head, back, or side, weary on the least exertion it is then we might to take a dose of these Pills. This will always have a good e&ct: because it is impossible for pain to be in the body without the presence of those humors which produce it— it is only by their being forced out by purging that health can be restored. It is at all times easier to prevent than tocure disease: because by taking a pre ventive course we do not debilitate the natural Functions or the body, but rather assist and strengthen them. The pecu liar action of Brandreth's Vegetable Pills is to clear se the blood from all impurities, remove every cause of pain or weakness, and restore the constitution to perfel:t health and vigor. BrandreTh's Vegetable Universal Pills. These Pills, which I very touch doubt can ever be equalled, and lam sure that it is utterly impossible to surpass them in their extraordinary curative properties, are made on such unerring principles that they are not only the proper but the only medicine wbich aught to be used from in fancy to the most remote pension of hu man life. The public may not be aware that I have made this valuable medicine nearly seven years, and I feel happy in being able to state, that during the whole of that period it has been done otherwtse than give the greatest possible satisfaction. No complaint has ever been made—on the cotrary, every one who has been so fortunat, as to become acquainted with them, has invariably considered it a duty . continually to recommend them to all their acquaintances. NVlinever uses this medicine may assuredly expect a health. ful and vigorous old age. Sold in Philadelphia, at my own office, North Eighth street. B. BRANDETII, M. D. VALUABLE PROPERTY FOR SALE: That valuable property known as the 614 r,spORT FOUNDR/ AND MACHINE SHOP, . _ Situate in the west end of HOLLIDAYSBURG, HUNTINGDON COUNTY, consisting of Two air Furnaces, capable of melting at one heat ten tons; ONE CUPOLA PURA AVE; one Machine shop, containing 4 turning lathes, and all tools necessary to manufac cure Steam Engines or other machinery; one Smith shop, with a full supply of toolr; a large and valuablee stock of Patterns and Flasks; 'One Steam Enene to blow Cupola and turn Lathes. The Foundry house is 45 by 30ft. The house around the air furnaces 60 by 45 feet. The other buildings are, one Engine house, Pattern shop, Core and Coke Oven. Hollidaysburg is one of the best locations for an establishment of this kind in Penn sylvania. The whole surrounding country abounds in Rolling Mills. Nail Factories, Forges, and other manufacturing establish ments, always requiring castings and machi nery; add to this, the facilities of transpor tation afforded by the Pa. canal and Rail Road, cheapness of coal, metal &c. which will enable the manufacturer to furnish cas tinge and machinery cheaper than they can be procured in any part of Pennsylvania This establishment is now in full and suc— cessful operation; it has a regular run of steady custom, and has never since its cons mencement (4 years) been idle one day for want of work. A very fair steam engine has lately been finished at this establish ment, and there is no doubt but as much of thin kind of work could be had as would keep a number of hands steadily employed The proprietor's only reason for wishing to dispose of this props rty is, that he can not superintend its operations. If this property be not sold at private sale before the 22nd of lime, it will on that day, at 10 o'clock, A. M. in the borough of Huntingdon, be sold at PUBLIC SALE At which time and place attendance will be gig en. Terms can be made to suit purchasers. CONSUMPTION AND LIVER CO-M• PLAIN DR. T.A.7LOWO 'IitALSAM OF LIVERWORT AS been used successfully for ight years in the Cure of these Diseases. irj.'llemember! the original and genuine is made ONLY at 375 Bwery, N. Y. ALL others are spurious and unauthorized! CONSUMPTION AND LIVER CUNT PLAINT As a general remedy for these diseases, I am fully satisfied, from long experience, there is no medicine equal to Dr. '1 aylor's Rai ,am of Liverwort. Being purely vegc• table, it can be used with the ittnn st saiety by all persons in every cmalition. It clean ses the lungs by expectoration, relieves diffi cult breathing, and seems to heal the chest. There can be no question, but this medicine is a certain cure for chr mic crughs and colds. I have used it fur faur years in my practice, and always with success. A. F. ROGERS, M. D. CONSUMPTION! The following remarks were taken from ,the last number of the Magazine:— !"The surprising effect produced by Dr. Taylor'sT Balsam of Liverwort, in consuinp tine cases, cannot fail exciting a deep and thrilling interest throughout the w,rld. We have so long believed this disease (consu mp- I don) incurable, that it is difficult to credit our senses when we see persons evidently 'consumptive, restored to health. Yet that is a fact of daily occairrence: how then cim we question the virtue of the above midi • tine ?" FEMALES.—The number of fe-' males in delicate 15e,.101 in this city is truly surprising, Weakness, loss of appetite, liver complaints, and many other diseases prey upon them, making them pale and lean of flesh. All this can be remedied by the use of strengthening medicine, that will assist nature in all her movements, restore tone to the nerves and muscular organs Of this kind is Dr. Tayloy's Balsam of Liverwort, , which being mild and purely vegetable, an swers females admirably. It all will use it, we are confident an elastic step, good and ruddy cheeks will follow. crpsr 1 "1 - 1 ING OF BLOOD.—This ' sease consists of a discharging of blood, of ten frothy from the mouth, brought up with hawking and coughing, and is usual ly accompanied with difficulty of breathing, and some pain in the chest, a dry tickling cough and slight shooting pains. This di sease is always more or less dangerous. The great changes is that these symptoms may terminate in consumption, and immediate remedies can alone save this end. But Dr. Taylor's Balsam of Liverwort is a sure re medy, and to shew is unparralled success, certificates of cures from 421 citizens, many phys, cians, will be published in a few days. (* -- NERVOUSDISF.ASES & WEAK NESS.—Dr. Taylor's Balsam of Liverwort, made at 375 Bowery, is assuredly an ex cellent remedy for these diseases. My wife has been more or less ill for ten years She was extremely nervous, and at times so weak that she could not attend to her domestic duties. By the use of this medi cine, her strengths is wholly restored, and she is as healthy as I can wish her to be. My address is at Dr. Taylor's office. rr OBSERVE!
