A gentleman traveling in the south of Europe and Palestine, in 1830, heard so much said in the latter place, in praise of Jew David's or Ifebrew Plaster, and of the (as he considered) miraculous cures it had performed, that he was induced to try it on his own person, for a lung and liver affection, the removal of which had been the chief object of his journey, but which had resisted the genial influence of that balmy and delicious climate.
