THE peculiarities of this Chemical Compound. are owing to its extra• ordinary effects upon the animal fibre or nerves, ligaments and muscles, its v.rt les being cal rind by them to the sect of dis ease or of pain and Weakness. However good any internal remedy may be, this, as an external application, will prove a powerful auxiliary in removing the disease and facilitating the cure, in cases of local iuflamation, schrofulous af fections, king's evil, gout, inflammatory, and chronic rheumatism, and in all cases whore a seated pain or weakness exist. A gentleman traveling in the south of Europe and Palestine, in 1850, heard so much said in the latter place, in praise of Jew David's or Hebrew Plaster, and of the (as he considered) miraculous cures it had performed, that he was induced to try it on his own person, for a lung and liver affection, the removal ~1 which had been the chief object of his journey, but which Itail resisted the genial influence of that halmy and delicious climate, lie soon found his health improving, and in a few weeks his cough left hint the sallowness of his skin disappeared, his pain was re awed, and his health became permanent ly reinstated. Since th .t time lie has ben recommending it to his friends and a quain , ancee, for all fixed puins whatev. er ; such as rheumatism, gout, head ache, nervous teeth ache, pain in the side, back and limbs, schrofulous humors, knots, wens, white swelling, hard tumors, stiff joints, ague cakes, ague in the breast, weakness and pain ix the stomach, weak limbs, lameness, affections of the spine, female weaknesses, &c. No female st.h ject to pain or weakness in back or side,. should be without it. For sale at the Drug store df Thomas Read, liuutingdon, Po. Jau. 27, 1841 DP.. When persevered in, it effectually renovntes the system, and does away the causes of the sick and nervous headache. Thousands have tried it, and found precisely the relief which the article promises to bestow. Certificates of the strongest kind, and from the most re spectable persons, are in the possession el tne proprietor, some of which have been published, testifying to the permanent cure, and others to the immediate relief given ray Allis remedy. It affords relief to the afflicted is 15 at 20 minutes from the first dose. If Aitken when the symptoms of an attack are ,first kit, it prevents the further progess of elbe complaint, and can produce no danger at any time by an excessive dose ; as in such cee it would only throw off the contents of the s !omach, leaving it sweet and healthy with aft excellent appetite. All afflicted with heati,;cite mould not fail to procure the article, an d r ,:lieve themselves from so dis tressing a c o mp:lint. Physicians has': in many instances given it to their patients, at:d its every instance, to our knowledge, with gr;•at satisfaction have found st a certain cure. Sick and Nervous Headaches is a complaint w;th which phy sicians do not wish to have any thi;:g to do, and gennerally prescribe only for tonpnrary relief: consequently, Dr. Spolin's Sick Head' ache Remedy escapes the opposition which some other proprietary articles meet from that source. Try it once and you never will regret it. IL his composed entirely of vegetables, and contains no mineral, or poisonous drug of ;Inv kind, and does not require any change of diet or exercise.
