The Democratic Senatorial Conference for the District mosed of the counties of lilair, Cambria and Clearfield, met, pur?uant to notice, at tJie City Hotel, Tyrone, and organized by electing I- I I Lux, of Clearfield, President, and Isaac Wike of Cambria, and O. A. Traiigh, of lilair, Secretaries. The following Conferees presented their credentials and were admitted to seats in the Conference : lilair John C- Kverhart, James ther, O. A. II. C. Devine mminated It. I John ston, of Cambria ; J. C. Everhart nomi nated Theophilus Snyder, of lilair ; and J. W. Potter nominateil W. A. Wallace, of Clearfield. On motion, the nomination? were closed nnd the Conference. procejeded to ballot.
