Imay25.l850tf. An aperient and stomachic preparation cf IRON purified of Oxygen ai d Carbon by com bustion in Hydrogen. Sanctified by the highest Medical Authorities, both in Europe and the United States, and prescribed in their practice The experience of thousands daily proves that no preparation of Iron can be compared with it. Impurities of the blood, depression of vital en ergy, pale and otherwise sickly complexions in dicate its necessity in almost every conceivable case. Innoxious in all malla lies in which it has been tried, it has prove! absolutely curative in each of the following complaints, viz: In Vefjility, Nervous Affections, Emaciation, Dyspepsia. Constijtation. Diarrhea, Dysenfery, Incipient Consumption, Scrtyiuous luirerculwis, SaltRheum. MismensiruaUon. Whites, Chlvrou, Liver Complaints, Chronic Headaches, IlhtuTna tism, Intermittent Fivers, Pimjl.es ou the Face, SfC. In cases of General Debility, whether the re sult of acute diseae, or of the continued dimi nution of nervous and muscular energy from Chronic complaints oi:e trial of this restorative has proved successful to an extent which no description nor written attestation would render credible. Invalids so long bed-ridden as to have become forgotton in their own neiLVoi hoods. have suddenly re-appear-.-d in the buy vorld as if ju.-t returned from a protracted travel in a distant land. Some very signal instances of this kind are attested of female Sufferers, r.iaci;ited victims of apparent marasmus, sanguineous ex haustion, critical changes, and that complication of nervon and dyspeptic aversion to air and exercise for which the physic ian has no name. In Nervous Affections of all kinds, and for reasons familiar to Medical men. the operatl-n of this preparation of Iron must necessarily be salutary, for, unlike the old oxides, it is vigor ously tonic, without being exciting and over heating, and gently, regularly aperient, even in the most obstinate cases of costivcn"ss without ever bving a gastric purgative or inllicting a dis azeeable sen&ati on. It is this latter property, among other which makes it so remarkably etl'oetual and permanent a remedy for files, upon which it also appears to exert a distinct and specific action, by dis persing the local tendency which forms them. In Dyspepsia innumerable as are its causes, a single box cf these Chatybeate Pills has often sufficed for the me-t habitual cases, including the attendant co.ttireness. In unchecked Diarrhtca, even when advanced to Dj'sentary, coiifirmed emaciating ami appa rently maligncit, the effects have been equally decisive and astonishing. In the local pains, loss of flesh and strength, debiliatihg cough, and remittent hectic, which generally indicates Incipient Consumption, this remedy has allaj'eu the alarm of mends and physicians, in several very gratifying and terestiog instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculsis, this medicated iron has had far more than the good effect of the most cautiously balanced preparations of idioue, without any of their well known liabilities. The attention of females cannot be too confi dently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the caces peculiarly affecting them. In Rheumatism, both Chronic and inflamatory in the latter, however, more decidedly it has been invariabjy well reported, both as alleviating pain aud reducing the swellings and stifness of the joints and muscles. In Intermittent fevers it must necersarily lie a great remedy and energetic restorative, and its progress iu the new settlements of the West will probably be one of high renown and use ulness. No remedy has ever been discovered in the whole his tory of medicine, which exerts such Srompt, happy and fully restorative effects, ood appetitee, complete digestion, rapid ac quisition of strength, with an unusual disinfec tion for active and cheerful exercise, immediate lyfollow its use. Put up in neat flat mettal bxes containins 50 pills, price 50 cents per lox; for sale by drug gists and dealers. Will be sent free t any ad dress on receipt of the price.
