THE subscriber, because of ill health,
1. and private matters also claiming his attention,
feels It ble duty to retire from business at least for a
season. probably until the present war is ended.
I shall close my business early itu February next,
and up to that period. will keep up my usual supply
of Syrups, Coffees, Teas, Sugars, Spices. Mackerel and
such other articles as belong to a stook of Groceries,
together with an assortment of
embracing the choicest qualities, and at the lowest
possible prices and profits.
The balance of my stock, composed of
CEDAR WARE,
such as Tubs, Churns, Buckets. a lot of Corn Brooms—
the choicest in any market—also,
China, Glass, Queensware, Crocks,
Baskets, &c., will be sold at reduced prices.
I would embrace this opportunity of tendering my
sincerest thanks to the numerous friends and custom
ers who have for a period of over twenty years, riven
me so generous and liberal a share of their patronage,
trusting that my labors to please have not altogether
been in vain.
