efficacy of this medicine in inflammatory diseases.
o For the last twelve years I have been more or less
troubled with'lntiaturna tory Rheumatism, commencing
early in-the spring, and lasting until cold weather Set
in, when I would be relieved for a while, only ft, be at.
tacked again in the Spring. 'All my joints would swell
and be very sore, attended with the most acute pain.
My feet, shoulders, arms, and bands troubled me mug,
so such suthat I could scarcely walk, aud.abonst al
ways required assistance in dressing. During this time
I would try everything I could beat , of, lu the hope of
finding a cure. I also tried several physicians, but ow
thing seemed a help me the least In the world. About
two and a half years ago 1 was attacked as usual, diud.
as usual tried everything to get rid of it, but to no per
pose. I kept growing worse, And finally hod Co give up
and stay in the house Whored was confined about four
weeks, This time my feet swelled, and were so sore that
I could not stand on them or get on my boots, and my
hands swelled to twice their usual sine. In fact, I was
to all appearances and belief, totally used up. About
this time my parents, who reside In Maine, sect for Me

trying another remedy, hoping to be cured, but re
animg the same ad all others. For weeks 1 had not

and suffering the most excruciating pain all the time.
One day my father came In with a paper in which wee
advertised Dr. Coggeweire Medical -Salt, for Inflamma

the expense. Of course I could not refuse such pn of
fer and %Mit for one boa. It came in dun season, but
. my faith was not Increased, and I laughed at the idea
of so small a dose doing me say good, and told my wife
that I'belleved Dr. 0. and his Salt both hutabugs.—
However, I commenced using it and the:result was
perfectly astonishing. I could hardly realise It myself'
I slept soundly all night, which .1 had not done for a
long time, and when I awoke la the morning, strange
