The subjoined letter from Dr. Paine, of Manchester,
N. 11., relates to one of the most valuable medicinal prop
erties possessed by the Aromatic Schnapps. and shoes
that it acts as a specific in a very painful disease—the

"Mu. 'Pout::—Permit mo to address you n few lines.
which you are at liberty to use if you think proper, in
respect to your medicine, called Schiedam Selnuipps.—
.1 have had a very obstinate case of gravel and stone, of
s ome five years' standing, causing very acute pain in
every attempt to urinate. After using many remedies
without much relief. I was Induced to try a bottle of
your medicine. In the course of three days it proved
effectual, disloging large pieces of stone, some of which
was as largtoas a tuarrowfht pea. I continued the cor
dial arcenting to directions. and the patient continued
t ; gain, end is fast recovering. 1 think a medicine of so
much value in so distressing a complaint, should be
toown to the public, and the world at large. And I for
ono. must give it my approbation and signature.
