Piffeons. The Cincinnati Chronicle says that on the morn ing of the 2 1st, the whole Souihcrn horizon was covered with pigeons, which continued to move on over the face of the skies, in squadrons of va rious magnitude, forming an innumerable army of this prolific bird. They were moving normwaru- hv. as the Spring approaches. The same paper of a later date, says : "The Pigeons continue to pass over the city in immense ilocks. A friend told us yesterday, that the woods in Kentucky are filled with them. Fine sport over the way." Strange Fact. About a year ago ajitlle daughter of Mr. John "Wesley Hawkins, about three years old actually cot into her windpipe a grain of burnt coffee. She ... .. . . . i had two or three choaking spells at snort intervals of a few days. Had three physicians to attend her. She seemed to be relieved, but declined in health, until about two months ago, when she had iwo more choking spells, at the last of which she threw out of her wind-pipe the grain of coffee en largcd to lhe size of two grains, which had a very disooreeable smell. The grain of coffee was kept a few days, when it dried away to a small size. The child has since become quite healthy. Ex. Jury liist April Term 1847. GRAND JURORS. John Hoffman, M. SUDDEN CHANGES There is nothing more trying to the human constitution than sudden changes of atmosphere. Heat rarefies the blood, ouickens the circulation, and increases the perspi- which should pass off by the skin are thrown oft inwardly, causing coughs, colds, consumption, dif ficulty of breathing, watery and inflamed eyes, sore throat, fevers, rheumatic pains in various parts of the body, and many other complaints, the usual symptoms of catching cold. Wright's Indian Vcgctallc Pills are a delightful medicine for carrying off a cold because they ex pel from the body those humors which are the cause not only of the above complaints, but of eve ry malady under heaven. Four or five of said In dian Vegetable Pills taken every night on going to bed will, in a few days, carry off the most ob stinate cold; at the same time the digestive organs will be restored to a healthy tone, and the blood so completely purified, that new life and vigor will be given to the whole frame. WrighCs Indian Vegetable Pills also aid and im prove digestion, and purify the blood; and, there fore, not only remove every vestige of the Liver Complaint, but, at the same time, give new life and vigor to the whole frame.
