Young appoar od beforo the Ji'.air cjunty Auditors, and presented a written protest, against the allowance of the Poor Directors' accounts. Among the itms of misconduct charged, are tho awarding of contracts without public advertising; the purchase of laud at enormous prioss without the approv al of the court, aud the furnishing of goods and materials to the alms house by individual directors. It was further alleged iu the protest, that over $20,000 of the county's funds have been squandered. Battle with a Wildcat- Pottsvillf., Feb. S Charles Fish er, a farmer, living near FriJensburg, this county, had an experience last night, which he is not likely to for get.
