You may pull tbe teeth of American saws,
And the ax you may throw away."
But tbe woodmen Lugb in ghoulish glee,
And tbe sawyeis work away.
And they're whooping it np.
They're whooping It up
ror Harrison every day.
Says Grover: -l'll go to a foreign land
To get my wool, 1 say ;
A me 1 lean sbeep may die in the field
And tbe farmers get do pay."
But tbe farmers smile a knowing smile
To their children at their play ;
And they're whooping it up,
Tbe-y'ie whooping it up
For Uarriaua every day.
Says Grover : -l'll go to tbe English mill
To get my iron uiade ;
American wheeU may all stand still
And tbe mill bauds go to tho shade."
But the tires burn and tbe chimneys smoke.
Aud the anvils ring, 1 sav ;
And they're whooping it up,
They're whooping it up,
For Harrison every day.
Saya Grover .-"I'll save the nation's gold;
I'll veto Ibis pension bill.
Thj veteran old may ragged go,
And his children hungry anil."
But tbe nation iroans at the unkind word
Frowua at the taunt, I aay ;
Aud we're whooping it up.
We're whooping it up
For Harrison every day.

a bard struggle, finally succeeded in getting
out of a car window.

The company alao remembered her bravery
by sending her a check for $250 and a per
petual pasa on that road. Miaa Alexander

a new feature, "Our Poet's Corner," and,
as Tht Graphic announces, "the depart
