ber were loads of ties that had been intend
ed for the Selinsgrove and North Branch

concern do not soon receive a state
ment ot tbe affairs of tbe concern, they will
deem it necessary to call a meeting to or
ganize a movement of inquiry.
Mrs nsan Cargill, tbe lady whose hus
band lately died of small-pox, in the bor
ough of Patterson, desires to return ber
thanks to the Benevolent Troupe," for
their kindness in presenting ber with a share
of the proceeds of what they earned by
their entertainment given in GraybiU's Hall,
January 15th. It is justice to mention that
the boys labored hard to get np the eater
tamraent, and all the proceeds were distrib
uted to the poor of the two boroughs.
They will give another entertainment for
