THE AMERICAN CITIZEN, j Butler, Pa., Wednesday, No*/. 16 ,1864 #6jrAU tho Pacific States—Californin Oregon, and Colorado, have gone for Lin coln and Johnson; they have no idea of j secceding from the old Union. Hon. Smith Fuller, Union candi date for Congress in the A\ estmoreland district, has one vote tallied to him in the ; return from Co. G, 4th I'a. Cav., before Petersburg, made to the Prothonatory of this county. On the tally list, we notice the name of Philippeas Walter, of West- j moreland ceunty. This is the only name on the list from that district, and is there- ! fore in all probability, the otic who east the Fultin vote. Kveu one vote is some- j times useful, nnd as Fulton will contest Dawson's (should ho get the certifi cate of 'feiection,) we deem it proper to •?!ientio* this fact. Into day's paper, will be found in tabular form, the result of the election, excepting Marion tp., which was not re ported. As the matter now stands, Lin coln's majority is 241. Marion was re ported to have gone 54 majority for "Lit tle Mac," which, if counted, would leave Lincoln's majority on home vote, IS7. j Some think that Marion will yet report, but nnder the ruling of the Convention at the special election, when Uulf.il > was left out. we cannot see how it can be re ceived, and we were then told that their chief object was to establish a sound pre cedent—this case too. is much stronger ; than the former; of course it can not j come in.
