It has never advocated the piling up of tig J muscles as the thing to he desired, but it lias taught that exercise is necessary I to health. Ordinarily, the businrss man in the gymnasium ?pends abcut one hoar tin re and lefore he leaves the build iug he takes his bath, hot and cold, and feels rejuvenated to the extent of hilarity. The most enthusiastic men in the business men's classes are between the ages of 35 and 50 year*. Many business men have suffered from nerves , and indigestion, have been wake ful at night, a hick of simple exercise is the trouble in mo>t eases. Such per sons should take the gymnasium course. The patient soon discovers that his appetite is both r than it was ; that his sleep is sounder.aud he wakes tip in the mornings refreshed. The first thing he knows he is feeling un usually well in eviry way, and when he realizes that exercise has done it all. he becomes the most ardent advo cate of the gymnasium. ' When parents come to consider that ' tlieie are over 20,000 students in our mrdioal colleges, and that these em biyo doctors are to tr.*at the aches and ; pains that in many cases coald have j been prevented hyol eying the wants of physical educatic n , v. lien they think that a tractiou of the large furos paid ■ to physicians to euro disease would i have pive-i thrir children strong healthy bodies by systematic gymnas tic training; tiie gymnasium would be too small to hold the throngs who would seek to improve their health and strength. Visitoih are admitted io the Monday and Tuesday evening senior classes; Tuesday afteiroou and Saturday morn ing junior classes. The business men's classes are cpen to men only, who are welcome to view the exercises of these | classes.
