SaTThe Democratic Stat Convention will be held in Harrisburg on Tuesday the first of March, to nominate candidates for Canal Commissioner, Auditor General and Surveyor General. or At the meeting of the Executive Committee in the Graud Jury room, on Tuesday last, it was determined by a vote of CG to GO to hold the First Annual Fair of the Union County Agricultural Society at New Berlin. At the first count the vote stood CO to CO, and before the nest vute several new members came in and determined the final result as above. Lew isburg could have had the Fair without an effort, but it was deemed the better policy, tinder existing circumstances, to select a central point, and a nutubcrof our members accordingly voted for the county seat The effiaial proceedings have uot yet reached us, but will appear next week. The Fair will commence on the 13ih of Oct. licit. The Second Annual Fair will doubtless be held at Lewisburg. P. S. Proceedings came to hand.
