Following the "Greek Sweep," from 3 to 6 p.m., there will be the first annual "Greek or Treat," where children from the area can walk around to different fraterni ties and trick or treat. Wanting to make Oct. 31 a total day of service, the Interfraternity Council decided sweeping the neighborhood of trash and then providing candy and activities for children would be a good way to give back After State Patty's Day, Vice President for Communications Dan Cartwright, said the Greek Sweep was very successful, and he thinks it will be the same this year after Halloween weekend. And once 3 p.m. rolls around, Trick or treaters welcomed at dorm Little ghosts and ghouls from the State College area trick-or treated in Beaver Hall Wednesday evening, but they weren't the only ones enjoying the Halloween season. "Halloween was always a big part of my life and made me so happy," O'Neill said. wanted to instill the same happiness in the kids." Stacie Swartzentruber, the Beaver Hall resident coordinator, said she organized the trick-or treating event because she want ed to give community members a warm and safe place to celebrate the holiday.
