The Blue Devils were voted the top team in the ESPN/USA Today preseason coach es poll, receiving 29 of 31 first-place votes. Rounding out the top five were Michigan State, Kansas State. Pittsburgh and Ohio State. The Big Ten is well represented in the poll with five teams in the top 25. Purdue.
