The resignation forms were dated prior to Dec. 4 the day the national sorority disbanded the chapter and were filled out in response to the national sorority's handling of an investi gation into hazing and risk man agement violations, former President of Delta Delta Delta sorority Deena Berger said. Berger said the sorority was specifically upset by the national sorority's handling of Delta Delta Delta’s participation in the Interfratemity Council/Panhell enic Dance Marathon (THON). The Alpha Phi chapter of Delta Delta Delta sorority was closed by the national sorority Friday. Jackye Clark, the presi dent of the national sorority, traveled to Penn State to tell the chapter the news in person. The national sorority is not dis closing details about the hazing or risk management allegations.
