While the rugby team was riding high on success, the men's basket ball team was hit with a loss. On July 31, the University grant ed basketball player Ryan Bailey, last season's starting point guard, permission to be contacted by other schools in order to transfer to another basketball program. Bailey enrolled at UCLA where he will redshirt this year and join the Bruins as a walk-on. As a fresh man last season, Bailey averaged 8.4 points and four rebounds per game for the Nittany Lions. D.
