One man was punched in the nose and had blood on his shirt, police said, and another man had a cut gibtivetis left eye. When police arrived at Pi Lambda Phi, the scene of the reported fight, they only found people scat tering. Three killed, two injured in Phila. drug shooting PHILADELPHIA (AP) Four men searching for drug money sprayed a North Philadelphia home with bullets, killing three people and injuring two others early yesterday morning, police said. The men knocked on the door at about 1 a.m. When someone answered, the men forced them selves inside and began shooting, police said. Kevin Boyd, 24, was pro nounced dead at the Medical Col lege of Philadelphia Hospital at 1:35 a.m. Tremaine Wilson, 24, and Abdul Lopez, 25, were pro nounced dead at the scene. All the victims are from Philadelphia. Autopsies were planned. A man and a woman were in undisclosed hospitals in serious condition, Sgt. Theresa Campana Judges push for law and order, debate mandatory sentencing PITTSBURGH (AP) Republi can Michael Barrasse says he favors mandatory sentences, especially in drunk driving and child sex abuse cases. Democrat Russell Nigro says judges should have some discre tion while Democrat John Mus manno says a "blend" of mandato ry sentences and judicial discre tion is best. Republican Sandra Schultz Newman says she thinks the cer tainty of mandatory sentences in drunk driving cases will lead peo ple to think twice about drinking and driving. Police said that someone used up several points on her meal plan.
