The new recommendations represent a major change in policy for the leading. non-government anti-cancer organization. The new advice no longer recom mends annual chest X-rays for symp tom-less smokers and other high-risk individuals over age 40, and reduces the recommendation for an annual Pap test or cervical cancer to every three years :or low-risk women over 20. ft also cuts back the frequency of recommended sigmoidoscopic exams for colon cancer from annual tests for hose over 40 to one every 3 to 5 years for lose over 50. Plight attendant Ann Landrum, who did, said it never worried her. :40E:astern's flight medicine director, Dr. :;)avid P. "We were standing in the galley, talking and joking about it. I saw three little dots on my forehead. They looked like little pin pricks. I wasn't concerned about it. I thought it was kind of a joke. "I didn't report it, and I wouldn't have noticed it if it hadn't been brought up and we weren't looking for it. Nobody got upset about it.
