Most of the people were equipped with sleeping bags, books, lanterns and a six-pack or two of their favorite brew to face the chilly night in anticipation of the April 13 concert at Rec Hall. The campers were blessed with clear skies, although the temperature dipped to cool 30 ON HEISTER next to degrees. One student , remarked "I just hope it doesn't snow." Blankets and sleeping bags were spread out from the HUB front doors all the way to the front of Grange. At 1 a.m. the crowd was in a festive mood as a lone min strel played the alma mater on an accordion. Several students said that they planned to buy the maximum number of tickets ( four) and scalp them, but all said they were going to the concert, too. The vigil seemed to have other rewards besides the tickets. Most of the campers said they were enjoying the experience. One student, Jeff Ginsburg (9th-environmental Name_ Address_ resource management) said, "It was pretty rowdy for a while. It was a lot of fun."
