A government official said the Labor peer wrote his letter of "resignation after a meeting ' .with Wilson yesterday afternoon. The ipvestigation will be carriedj out by the Depart ment of Trade. Details were not announced. The Subcommittee on Criminal Justice hand-delivered a letter to the White House protesting an earlier letter it received from the President and “respectfully’ asked Ford to “respond individually to each query... by the end of business Thursday.” Yesterday’s letter was signed by Rep.
