Fawcett, Hershey professor of anatomy and head of the department of anatomy at Harvard Medical School, will speak at 4:00 p.m. today in 310 Whitmore as guest lec turer in the Biological Lecture Series. . The cell biologist and elec tron microscopist will speak on "The Structure and Function of the Membrane Systems of the Cytoplasm." After receiving his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, Fawcett taught at Cor nell Medical School as profes sor of anatomy and chairman Of the department of anatomy. Fawcett has serVed nation ally as a member of the Cell Physiology Panel of the Com mittee on Growth in the Na tional Research Council.
