To Err Is Human
Rackley told the students
that they should take full ad
vantage of their freedom to
make mistakes.
The freedom to make mis
!takes will not only help a stu
dent gain better Insights or
himself, he said, hut will also
ben'fit him by preventin
similar mistakes in later life.
Rackley told the student
they would have "rewarding
years" at the University if they
pursued their intellectual abili
ties and delved deeply into
the educational community.
Success comes to students
who are highly motivated and
work with efficiency, he said.
However, students should not
overtax themselves with extr2•
curricular activities to a point
where their classroom activi
ties suffer, he cautioned.
