"We had to find matches with someone and they were willing to meet us." , Last year, State crushed the Gobblers, 27-2, in Rec Hall, yet VP.I. coach Frank Teske was happy about the meeting• between his team and the Lions. "WE'VE DONE most of our wrestling in the Southern Confer ence and the competition just isn't as rough as it is hp here," Teske said after the meet. "Even though we got beat by a big score, I think we gained a lot of good experience." ./- The experience the Gobblers gained must have been helpful, for they waltzed to an easy team title in the Southern Conference Tourney.
