SATURDAY, JANUARY 5, 1963 Drew University Prof To Speak At Service Tomorrow in Schwab H. Gordon Harland, associate professor .of church history at Drew University School of The ology, will speak on "The Eman cipation Proclamation" at Chapel at 10:55 a.m. tomorrow in Schwab. Born in Canada, Harland was graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 1942, and was grant ed the bachelor of divinity degree by the Theological School of United. Colleges, Winnipeg, in 1945, and the doctor of philosophy degree by _Drew University in 1959. He was ordained to the ministry of the United Church of Canada in 1945. From 1945 to 1955, Harland was a member of the faculty of the ology at United College. Epiphany Service Scheduled A midnight Epiphany Service with music by the Chapel Choir will be held at 10:40 tonight in Schwab. This program replaces the Chapel Candlelight Service usual ly held in early December. The choir, directed by Mrs. Willa Taylor, will sing Gabrieli's "In ecclesiis, from Book II of the "Symphonia Sacra," with organ and brass , ensemble;_ "0 quam suavis," by William Byrd; "Ho sanna to the Son- of David," by Thomas Weelkes; "0 Lord, the maker of all things," by John Joubert and "Sinfonie Sacra" by Daniel Pinkham, with organ and brass quartet.
