Daniel R. Leasure, assistant dean of men. said yester day. President Eric A. Walker ap proved the dismissal which was recommended by the Senate Sub comMittee on Discipline. Dismissal of a i student is the mast serious penalty the subcommittee can give t, in a disciplinary case and also the only penalty which re quires the approval of the Presi dent,: Leasure said, , Readmission of a dis Missed stu dent J must be approved by the President upon recommendation of the dean of the college in which the student is enrolled, Leasure said, THE' INCIDENT involving two students occurred at Bucknell l'University recently. Bucknell of ficiate reported that the students had illegally entered a parked automobile in the area and were found in the back seat "in a com promising situation:* Leasure said. They were discovered by school officials two hours after the coed. ! a guest in the Bucknell Residence Halls, was required to be in the hall. !The male student was not' a registered guest at Bucknell, Leasure said. Leasure added that the juris dictidn of the University in cases , involving disciplinary action is not confined to the physictil limi tations of the University. The Uni versity has jurisdiction over a student's actions as long as he is enrolled at the University. This includes vacation periods also; Leasure- added. The country of Southern Rho desia possesses large deposits of coal And iron ore; Its chief ex ports are gold and asbestos. .4 , ••••••••••••••••••••••• • WHERE'S EVERYBODY! : Not Even Prison Walls : keep Them From • •.• the • :"spoT" • • 0000000000 Kosher Hoagie • Steak Shrimpburger Meat Ball Salami Corned Beef Ho!Pastrami Pastries 0000000000 Featuring is Take Out Service 0000000000 HOURS: So. thm Thurs. • • :7:00 A.M. - 11:00 RI..
