The Lions lost a big District 2 game to Ithaca, 14-5, Tues day and need wins over Rutgers today anti Army tomorrow to regain the prestige they lost in the Ithaca debacle. ;. Rutgers (3-0) presents a big hurdlej for the Lions. The Scarlet blasted Army, 14-3, Wednesday ;for their third win. Thgy also hold victories over Villanova (6-3) and Virginia (10-2) THE NITTANIES (2-1) will start southpaw Bob Fenton against Rutgers. Righthander Marhn Bie secker is scheduled to throw at Army tomorrow. Fenton, a stocky junior, has been the Lions' most consistent pitcher to date. He is unscored on m eight innings of pitching and received credit for the Lions’ opening 6-1 win over Gettysburg. Lion coach Joe Bcdenk isn't planning any changes in the line up for today's game, but the vet eran mentor is making one: switch in the batting order. Shortstop Johnny Phillips, bat ting .500 with six hits in three games, is jumping from the eighth spot to the clean-up position in the order. Catcher Don Jonas will bat in the eighth slot. The lineTfp includes Dick Pae, center field; Don Robinson, sec ond base; Fred Light, third base; Phillips; Roger- Kochman, left field; Dick Anderson, right field; Pete Liske, first base; Jonas and Fenton.
