Tickets will be available to stu dents at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday and to non-students at 9 a.m. Monday at the Hetzel Union desk. Distri bution of tickets will continue un til Wednesday. Frank was one of the last pu. pits of Artur Schnabel and has been closely associated with Serkin's Marlboro Festival and School since 1953. Frank has appeared throughout Europe and North America with orches• tras and chamber ensembles. He has given solo recitals on radio, television and in concert halls. Frank was born in Germany, but has made his home in the United States since 1941. The Washington, D.C. Evening Star commented on one of Frank's performances as a "phenomenal artist who combines the icy bril liance of Schnabel with the glow ing passion of Serkin, and comes up With something that is unique ly his own." The program to be presented here will include - Schuman's Ara besque, Opus 18; Mozart's Sonata in F. Major, K 332; Beethoven's Sonata in A Major. Opus 101; se lections from Debussy; Liszt's Sonetta 123; and the Hungarian Rhapsody, No. 11. Classes at the Pennsylvania State University in 1859 started at 6 a.m., immediately after devo tionals and breakfast. Class banquets, lectures and in formal parties have been arrang ed by the reunion classes in co ordination with the Alumni Insti tute, he said, Registration for all classes will open in the Iletzel Union lobby Thursday at 1:30 p.m. and \vill continue through Saturday. The Alumni Institute, the more serious aspect of the weekend, is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday . with a panel discussion led by members of the faculty on "The Exploding World." The purpose of the institute is to "offer a program of lectures, panel discussions and meetings and to give the alumni a chance to meet present members of the faculty," Lehman explained. He added that this is a com bination of "provocative discus sion with the reflecting of old friends." Included in the program will be a special weekend exhibit of old photos and other memorabilia of the University and town. These will be displayed in the Assembly room of the Nittany Lion Inn. Returning alumni will b e housed in McElwain and Simmons residence halls.
